Moniteau County 911 board meets

At its meeting on Sept. 11, the Moniteau County 911 Emergency Dispatch Center Board of Directors board approved the minutes of the Aug. 15 regular meeting.

Administrator Corey Sullivan presented information about the Moniteau County GIS flyover given to him by Presiding County Commissioner Kenny Kunze. He was instructed to obtain additional information for the next board meeting.

He will also attend the next meeting of area fire chiefs to help with the issue of what incidents a fire department is to be paged to. The inventory of the missing road signs in the county indicates that 55 signs are missing. Insurance groups are looking into health insurance for employees.

All the files requested have been sent to Geo-Comm for the analysis of the current mapping. Microsoft Office has been installed on all the dispatch stations. Wireless USA will be working on the dispatch consoles to solve an error issue with the software.

Jennifer Harris was hired Aug. 28 to fill a full-time dispatcher position. She has been in training.

According to the treasurer's report, sales tax received was $103,715.89. The MMDA account balance as of Sept. 9 was $510,897.62. The CD balance was about $102,500 as of Aug. 31. The total payroll was: Aug. 27 - $8,863.32; Sept. 11 - $9,419.18. Overall payroll taxes were $7,650.53. Total accounts payable approved at the meeting amounted to $12,414.97.

The next monthly meeting is 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, at the 911 Center.
