The April meeting of the Moniteau County Historical Society will be held Monday, April 13, at the Cultural Heritage Center. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m.
This will be a regular business meeting. Items of interest will include a report of the chili supper and committee reports. Committee chairpersons are urged to attend.
Discussions will include the continued search for persons to serve actively on a fund raising committee and a person to monitor the condition of the building, make minor repairs and maintain the facilities.
New members are welcome. Memberships are $15 yearly.
The Genealogy library is open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoons 1 to 5 p.m. The Museum Hall of History is open on the second and fourth Sundays from 1 to 3 p.m. Guided tours for five or more persons are available at any time. Call the society office 796-3563 to make arrangements.
