It was a big event at Blankenship Insurance Thursday, April 23, when a plaque was presented to the agency by Auto Owners Insurance Company in recognition of "50 years of outstanding service."
Present for the acceptance of the plaque were Larry and Kathy Kent, Debbie Burger and Aaron Spieler.
Auto Owners is a Fortune 500 company, which was established in 1916, meaning that Blankenship Insurance Agency has been affiliated with Auto Owners almost half of the time since its founding.
Diane Marshall and Jim Gallagher from Auto owners Insurance Company presented the plaque honoring the local agency.
Marshall, Columbia, Auto Owners Insurance Company Regional Vice President counts more than 25 years service with the company. Gallagher, Blue Springs, Market Representative has been with the company for 14 years.
