Kiwanis breakfast begins pre-fair activities

The Kiwanis breakfast on Saturday, Aug. 1, opened the pre-fair activities for the Moniteau County Fair. The California Kiwanis served about 200 people from the second floor of Centennial Hall. Funds raised from this annual event are used by Kiwanis for various programs which support youth. The breakfast, which began at 7 a.m. for early risers was followed by a Trail Challenge, which began in the Main Arena at 10 a.m.
