This December, the California High School Pinto Pride Band will represent their school in two nationally televised bowl parades in Florida. The band will leave Dec. 26 and travel to Orlando, Fla. There they will enjoy visiting Universal Studios Resort where they will march in the park's daily "Macy's Universal Studios Holiday Parade" - this parade features balloons and floats that are featured in the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Parade in New York. The next day, the band will be featured in the Florida Citrus Bowl Parade in downtown Orlando. Dec. 30, the band will head to Tampa, Fla., to enjoy a day at Busch Gardens. The next day, after a day at the beach, the band will be featured in the Outback Bowl Parade before heading home to California. Students are currently raising funds for their trip.
