The Jamestown Lady Eagles posted a 57-35 win Thursday against the Russellville Lady Indians Thursday, Dec. 10.

Jamestown led 16-13 after one quarter and 30-19 at the break. Jamestown took a 43-25 advantage into the final period.

Alli Muri put up 19 points to lead Jamestown (6-0), while Mackenzie Strother added 16 Mickayla added 10 and Lexi Muri 6.

Jayla Volkart had 14 points to pace Russellville (0-5).

Russellville Coach David Volkart shared "I thought we played extremely hard. The end score was not a true reflection of the game. Our focus is to improve every game and I feel like we improved against a good Jamestown team."

In the junior varsity match Russellville won 28-23. Jamestown was led by Chiane Harlan with 8 while Samantha Nivens chipped in 7 for the win.

On Tuesday Jamestown defeated Linn 66-51. Mikayla Strother led the Lady Eagles with 19 points followed by sister Mackenzie with 16. Alli Muri chipped in 13 while sister Lexi added 11.

Jamestown will host South Callaway on Tuesday evening however game results were not available at press time.
