Troop 120 traveled to the Hohn Scout Camp located at the Lake of the Ozarks to attend the annual Great Rivers Council Klondike Derby.

The Scouts pulled their Klondike sled around the camp to participate in various activities such as fire building, a compass course, first aid and of course the derby sled race.

To help them go fast, the scouts had put skis on the bottom of their sled but alas there was no snow this year for them to work. Scoutmaster Eric Schroeter is happy to report that all of the scouts came back with no frost bite or gold fever.

The scouts attending were Bryce and Bruce Rosenmiller, Addison and Scott Jobe, Spencer Messerli, Chatman Pardoe, Mackayne Barbour, Lane Schuster, Kyle Freiner, Daniel Johnson and Eric Schroeter.

The Troop is gearing up for another campout in February where everyone is hoping for snow.
