The National Weather Service (NWS) predicts snow will continue tonight, possibly mixed with some freezing rain and sleet in parts of southeast Missouri south of the I-44 corridor. Any lull in precipitation overnight will be temporary, as it's expected to resume Sunday morning.

Precipitation will continue into Sunday with snow mixing with sleet at times along the I-70 corridor, and changing to all rain in the afternoon further south in southeast Missouri and far southern Illinois.
