Arkansas Democrat-Gazette/JEFF MITCHELL -- 01/04/10 -- Traffic moves slowly through blowing snow along State Highway 5 just outside Cabot, January 4, 2010.

Students dressed in character became as a statute until they had the button on their hand pushed by family members, other students and visitors to the museum. Students were allowed to choose their character but had to memorize a 2-3 minute speech regarding their part in the expedition. Among the 21 students were favorites such as Sacagawea, George and Martha Washington and Meriwether Lewis.

Guests to the museum were amazed at how still and life like the students were as they sat awaiting the opportunity to share. They were also impressed at the knowledge each child shared upon having their button pushed.

As for the students many said they were having fun. A couple said it was really hard to sit still and wait, while others said it was awesome and wished they could do it more often.
