The Friends of Moniteau County Library raised $2,626 at its Family Feud and ice cream sundae fundraiser Saturday at the United Church of Christ friendship hall.
The funds will go toward replacing the library's carpet.
Local families participating included Burger, Garnett, Jungmeyer, McGill, Schnieders, Staton and Williams, with the McKee family winning the game.
The library friends group has hosted trivia night and murder mystery fundraisers in its first three years, to provide improvements for the building including a new awning, new entry doors and new patron furniture.
The next fundraiser will be the second annual trivia night Oct. 3.
