Moniteau Christian Ministries celebrate volunteers

The Moniteau Christian Ministries Center, Inc. (MCMC), Board of Directors sponsored and hosted a Volunteer Appreciation Picnic at Proctor Park on June 14 with 80 people in attendance.

Mayor Norris Gerhart read a proclamation recognizing the numerous volunteers and applauded the time and efforts they put forth in maintaining the Christian work that is distributed through the MCMC.

Combined hours from Project Share, The Cargill Cares Food Pantry, Managers, Directors and many others were over 12,000 volunteer hours during 2014.

Mayor Gerhart noted that the generosity and support of volunteers, individuals, churches, organizations, and businesses has made the operation of the MCMC possible.
