Curtman, Moniteau County Republican picnic guest speaker

The Chair of the House Government Efficiency Committee, State Representative Paul Curtman (R-Franklin County), will be the guest speaker for the Moniteau County Republican Club's annual summer picnic.

The picnic will be held July 16, at 6:30 p.m., at Proctor Park, in the Rohrbach Shelter House.

Curtman is a marine veteran serving his third term in the House. From Pacific, Curtman is a strong, young leader of the Republican party in Missouri and is an inspiring speaker. Club President Larry Rohrbach said, "All county Republicans are encouraged to come to the picnic. We have an outstanding speaker, and always have good food, good politicking, and good fellowship at our summer picnic."

A number of Republicans who have announced they are running for statewide office in 2016 have been invited to the picnic. Those in attendance will be introduced and invited to give brief remarks on behalf of their candidacies.

There will also be entertainment.

The club will provide hamburgers and hot dogs as well as table service with those in attendance bringing a side dish.
