911 personnel to attend conference in Columbia

There were five 911 personnel approved to attend the Missouri Communications Conference on Sept. 14-16 in Columbia. The approval was given by the Moniteau County Emergency Dispatch 911 Board at its July 16 meeting, held at the 911 Emergency Dispatch Center. The cost is $115 per attendee.

The board also approved sending the Terminal Agency Coordinator officer to the Criminal Justice Information Services User Conference Sept. 22-24 at Lodge of the Four Seasons, Lake Ozark.

Other items approved were purchase of of 20 polo shirts with embroidery and several t-shirts. Purchase of recorder maintenance until Dec. 31 was approved for $1,225.12. Recorder maintenance will be revisited in the 2016 budget.

Administrator Corey Sullivan reported a roof leak, due to a tear in the boot around a vent pipe, has been repaired.

According to the treasurer's report, sales tax received was $83,754.66. The MMDA account balance as of July 14 was $661,232.57. The CD balance was about $188,441.82 as of May 31. The total payroll was: June 18 - $9,210.94; July 2 - $9,942.67. Overall payroll taxes were $10,413.94. Total accounts payable approved at the meeting amounted to $14,720.50.
