Several local youth attended the American Legion's Missouri Boys State and the American Legion Auxiliary's Missouri Girls State this summer.

Hannah Banderman, Sarah Bryant and Katie Imhoffs from California High School and Mikala Jungmeyer, Halie Dampf and Katie Ford from Russellville High School attended Missouri Girls State.
