MCMC walk/run fundraiser is June 20

A walk-run event is planned for Saturday, June 20. The event is a fundraiser to support the Phase III completion efforts (Phase III is putting a hard surface, either concrete or asphalt to the loading dock) of the Moniteau Christian Ministries Center (MCMC) on Latham Road. HomeLand Realty is partnering with MCMC for this event to bring the community together to promote health and wellness and raise funds to support the completion of Phase III.

On Saturday, June 20, registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. at Village Green Shopping Center with the race to begin at 8 a.m. Registration is $20 per participant and includes a t-shirt for the first 100.

Prizes/medals will be awarded to the top three runners/walkers in the following age group: 10 and under; 11-15; 16-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70+. The course begins on Bowling Street, makes its way through the residential streets of California, and ends back at the starting point.
