Moniteau County 911 board meets

The Moniteau County Emergency Dispatch 911 Board met June 11 at the 911 Emergency Dispatch Center. Administrator Corey Sullivan reported to the board that Millsap Mechanical Service has completed an electrical evaluation of the center and has found that the current uninterruptible power supply will no longer be efficient. Possible upgrade options will be checked out for the future.

The propane tank has been switched out. It has been tested with the generator. Sullivan was instructed to gather other information and present it to the board at the next meeting.

In other business, the board approved new software and accounting from Bobby Medlin CPA. All bill paying will be electronic.

The board heard a proposal for getting shirts made for the staff. The matter was tabled and Sullivan asked to obtain additional information about embroiderer vs. screen print and the number of shirts involved.

According to the treasurer's report, sales tax received was $89,873.05. The MMDA account balance as of June 9 was $615,930.47. The CD balance was about $188,441.82 as of May 31. The total payroll was: May 21 - $9,558.61; June 4 - $9,898.19. Overall payroll taxes were $7,724.33. Total accounts payable approved at the meeting amounted to $8,665.12.

The next monthly meeting is 6 p.m. July 16 at the 911 Center.
