A week of exploring art for young people will be held July 20-24 at Proctor Park in the Rohrbach Pavilion. Enroll by Thursday, July 9.
The event with the City of California Parks and Recreation will costs $30, which will include a t-shirt and art supply, for the students entering first through seventh grade.
Wild About Art is for artists in grades 1-3 who are invited to join the camp on an art safari. The artists will explore the "wonderful world of wild animals" as they create and let their imaginations run wild. The session will be 9 to 11 a.m.
Going Green is for artists in grades 4-7 who are invited to join the camp as "we think green." Artists will use everyday objects to make art as well as "think outside the box" and learn to re-purpose disposable objects making them a part of their own masterpieces. This e session will be 1 to 3 p.m.
