A snowstorm dropped anywhere from four to seven inches, Saturday, Feb. 28, bringing the first of what could be called a major snowstorm of the year to the area. Although activities, other than playing in the snow, were disrupted on Sunday and Monday morning, warmer temperatures helped with the snow on the streets and sidewalks for Monday afternoon.

Predictions of freezing drizzle after midnight Tuesday, then rising temperatures, will possibly take care of the most of the snow remaining on the ground.

Predictions of 50 degree weather on Tuesday, then below freezing temps on Wednesday, with snow predicted, can best be described as "unsettled" weather. This year, abnormal weather is apparently the new normal.
