Forty-eight graduate from Russellville High School

Russellville High School graduated 48 students Saturday.

The class chose for its motto: All those who have knocked us down, only inspire us to do better.

Honor students recognized for earning a cumulative grade point average of 3.33 or higher in all subjects over eight semesters were Rachel Call, Joseph Meili, Hannah Michitsch, James Porter, Harley Waggoner and Elizabeth Wyss.

Valedictorian Wyss and Salutatorian Michitsch both spoke before diplomas were awarded.

Class sponsors were David Coulston, Christina Hess, Brent Mettlen, Ryan Sheehan and David Volkart.

More than half of the class completed requirements for the A+ program. Eleven were National Honor Society members and two were Beta Club members.
