EUGENE - The Lady Indians continue their winning ways, defeating Chamois 23-17 in the Show-Me Conference Tournament Wednesday.
Russellville used a 10-point first quarter to get an early 10-5 lead against Chamois, but the Lady Pirates tied the game at 12 at halftime. The Lady Indians jumped back out to a 19-14 lead after the third quarter, and held on in the fourth for the six-point win.
Allison Schrimpf led the team with 10 points, Macie Edwards scored six, Natalie Kirchner added four and Skylar Potts had three points to finish off the Russellville scoring.
MOKANE -- Russellville dropped its final game of the season to South Callaway on Tuesday, losing 33-26 and ending its season with a 12-3 record.
With the Lady Indians leading 17-11 at halftime, South Callaway outscored Russellville 16-4 in the third quarter to take the lead and pull away 27-21.
Schrimpf led the team with 10 points, Potts scored six, Edwards had five and Hannah Malzner and Erica Schweer added three and two points, receptively.
