California Elementary School students raised nearly $5,000 for the American Heart Association during the recent Jump Rope for Heart program, which teaches students to take care of their hearts while also giving back to their community. Top earner Amberlie Traver collected $557 and so the gym will be named for her the remainder of the year. Other students who made the "Lifesavers Club" by raising $50 or more include: Jassiah Smith, Kelsey Wadley, Alexis Aguado, Evy McGill, Sawyer McGill, Morgan Campbell, Maryah Hoback, Allison Houk, Kierstyn Lawson, Adler Koestner, Hunter Hall, Hadley Milligan, Emily Burger, Ella Burger, Caleb Howard, Hudler Cain, Yareli Jimenez, Emilee Weedon, Lexy Messerli, Ella Keeran, Abbigail Stuedle, Kya Peck, Victor Salas, Alysson Cisneros, Andy Cram, Addison McGee, Dillon McGuire, Dalton Robers, Blain Borgmann, Walker Friedmeyer, Lilli Griffith, Gabby Griffith, Kade Garrison and Ellye Messerli.
