California 3, Osage 13:

School of the Osage scored six runs in the first inning to jump out to an early lead against the Lady Pintos last Tuesday, as the Lady Indians cruised to a 13-3 win at California High School.

The Lady Indians scored two runs in the second inning, three in the third and two in the four to force the 10-run rule into effect.

Samantha Beckham led the offense with one RBI, batting 1-for-2 at the plate. The Lady Pintos recorded four hits total.

Down 8-0, California scored three runs in the second inning to cut the deficit to five. Jenna Reynolds walked to lead off the inning, then Braleigh Johnson reached on an infield error with one out. After Paige Johnson reached on another error to load the bases, Allee Koestner plated two runs after an error by the third baseman.

Beckham walked to score the the third run of the inning.

The Lady Indians scored three runs in the third, then two runs in the fourth to put the run-rule into effect.
