The California High School FFA Chapter marked another successful event with its annual FFA Barbecue Sunday, Oct. 4. Students and faculty worked hard to prepare for an expected crowd of hungry diners and were not disappointed with the turnout. There were 1,988 meals served, both dine-in and carryout.

The school parking lot was filled with cars. Not only were dining tables in the commons packed, additional dining tables set up inside the gym along the west side were also filled. There was also a long line in the southeast hallway where carryout orders were served.

Food served at this event was donated by parents and student members, with all working together to make it a success. FFA members were continually on hand to assist patrons and bus tables.

Funds raised goes towards the FFA meetings, trips and going to nationals.
