The Pinto Pride Band had a successful day at the 2015 Monroe City Black & Gold Marching Festival on Saturday Oct. 3 in Monroe City. The festival featured four different competitions and there were 11 bands in the 3A division.

In total, the band took home six trophies. In Street Marching, the Pinto Pride tied for second place, scoring 82.5 on Music and 85.5 on Marching and Maneuvering.

The California Drumline took third place with a score of 160. The Pinto Guard took third place with a score of 117. In Field Show, the Pinto Pride took fourth place (missing out on 3rd by only 0.25), scoring 149 on Music, 130 on Visual, 104 on General Effect, 138 on Auxillary, and 170 on Percussion.

The Pinto Pride Band is under the direction of Dustijn Hollon and assisted by Stacey Davis and Erika DeMoss. The California Drumline is directed by Hollon and the Pinto Guard are directed by Davis. The Pinto Pride Band is led on the field by Drum Majors Taylor Jones, Jarod McKee and Matthew Hurt. The California Drumline is led on court by Captain Dylan Silvey. The Pinto Guard is led on court by Captain Dania Isidro. The Pinto Pride Band will next compete at the Trenton Day Band Festival on Saturday, Oct. 17.
