Prairie Home Tournament:
PRAIRIE HOME - Russellville improved its record to 9-1 in the Prairie Home tournament by beat New Franklin 41-26 and Bunceton last week. The Lady Indians scored 11 in the first quarter and 15 in the second to build a 26-14 halftime lead.
Allison Schrimpf led the way for 17 points and Skylar Potts added 11 for the Lady Indians. Macie Edwards also contributed with eight points.
The Lady Indians edged Bunceton in the next game, 26-21. Schrimpf and Reagan Jenkins led the team with six points a piece, and Macie Edwards contributed with five. Kayln Smith added four points and Hannah Malzner had three.
Bunceton led 14-13 at halftime, but Russellville outscored the Lady Dragons 7-2 in the fourth quarter to regain the lead.
