Jamestown 19, Russellville 5

After Jamestown raced out to a 4-0 lead in the second, Russellville battled back to tie the game in the third, but ultimately allowed too many runs in the last two innings. The Lady Eagles scored eight in the sixth, and six in the seventh to pull away.

Freshman Alyssa Reynolds earned the win for Jamestown, pitching seven innings and allowed five runs - three earned - on eight hits and four walks. Reynolds also struck out four in the game.

Senior Mackenzie Strother was 4-for-6 with two doubles and six RBI, senior Alli Muri batted 4-for-5 with three runs scored and three RBI, senior Mickayla Strother was 4-for-5 with four runs and three RBI and senior Melanie Perez was 2-for-4 from the plate with two RBI and a double.

The Lady Eagles junior varsity beat the Lady Indians 11-5.

Jamestown will will travel to Prairie Home on Thursday and Eugene on Friday, both games starting at 5 p.m.

Russellville 5, California 4

The Lady Indians scored two in the bottom of the seventh to comeback and beat the Lady Pintos on Thursday night.

Down, 4-3, Russellville's McKendra Fischer led off the seventh inning with a single to left field, then Taylor Case walked to put two runners on with no outs.

After both runs advanced on a passed ball, Brooke Kremer hit a sacrifice fly that scored Fischer to tie the game at 4. Two batters later, Madie Bungart grounded to the shortstop to score the game-winning run.

Fischer led the offense that totaled nine hits, going 3-for-3 from the plate with three singles, two RBI and one run scored.

California's Jenna Reynolds had two RBI while going 1-for-3 from the plate.

The Lady Indians will host New Bloomfield on Thursday at 5 p.m. to start Show-Me Conference play.

Eugene 13, California 4

The Lady Pintos dropped a road game at Eugene Monday night, allowing the Lady Eagles to score quick and early.

Eugene scored two in the first inning, five in the second and three in the third.

Braleigh Johnson led the California offense, batting 2-for-3 with two RBI. Paige Johnson and Kaylee Vanloo each had an RBI a piece.

The Lady Pintos will take part in the Prairie Home tournament Saturday, then will host Warrensburg on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
