The Lady Pintos beat Centralia in straight sets Monday night (25-11, 25-21). JVB and JVA also won 2-0 against the Lady Panthers.
California (4-6, 1-3 in Tri County Conference) will host Eugene on Thursday with the JVB game starting at 5:30 p.m.
Fulton Tournament:
FULTON - California took fourth place at the Fulton tournament on Saturday, winning two games, losing two and splitting another. The Lady Pintos beat Fulton 25-18, 25-21 to open the tournament, then lost to Savannah 2-0 in the second game. They split against Owensville 25-17, 22-25 to end group play.
In bracket play, they beat Kirskville 25-7, 25-17, then lost to Eldon 25-20, 25-12.
Kayla Allison earned first team all-tournament and Adrienne Strickfaden and Cameron Meyer was second team.
Russellville 2, Bunceton 0:
RUSSELLVILLE -- The Lady Indians defeated Bunceton in striaght sets (25-11, 25-15) on Friday.
Kristen Hallford recorded five aces in the match and led the team with three kills. Savannah Laird had two kills and Anna Koestner, Rachel Verslues and Olivia each had a kill.
