PRAIRIE HOME - It was an offensive explosion between the Lady Pintos and Prairie Home, with the Lady Panthers outhitting California to a 15-10 win.
California held a 10-9 lead in the fifth inning, but Prairie Home scored six runs in the bottom half of the inning to take the lead for good.
Ashlyn Moore led the Lady Pintos' offense, batting 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run scored. Annastyn Trimble recorded two hits, two RBI and two runs scored.
California jumped out to the 3-0 lead in the top of the second, then the Lady Panthers cut that to 3-2 in their half. The two teams matched each other in the third fourth, both scoring three runs in the third and four runs in the fourth.
Then, Prairie Home finished the shootout with six runs in the fifth.
