School music groups perform on North Stage

The annual Ozark Ham and Turkey Festival was held Saturday, Sept. 19, with many of California schools musical children performing on the North Stage performances.

The California High School Bank and Flags directed by Dustjn Hollon, Ericka DeMoss and Stacy Davis took the stage at 11:15. Followed by Eve Thibon and Tracy Wells coaching the dance squad. The CHS Theatre Arts - Improvisational Theatre performed directed by Kate Cuba. The CHS Cheerleaders, coached by Alisha Connell, performed at 12:30 followed by the CMS Cheerleaders coached by Mary Thomas.

At 1 p.m. the Sounds of Joy, directed by Michele Bilyeu, delighted the crowd until 2 p.m. The California Middle School Pinto Express directed by DeMoss took over and sang several selections. Pinto Express member Alyssa Sabartinelli captivated the crowd with a solo, "The Fight Song." The CHS Theatre Arts Improvisational Theatre rounded out the afternoon on the North Stage.

The talented young people brought many cheers from the large crowds in attendance to support them.
