SEDALIA - Sophie Brant and Renee Roberts have both qualified for the sectional tournament next week, earning top-5 honors in the process Monday at the Class 1, District 5 Tournament at Sedalia Country Club.
Brant shot an 83 to place third overall and Roberts finished fifth with a 95.
The sectional tournament is set for Oct. 5.
Last Wednesday, the Lady Pintos placed second in a quad with Sacred Heart, Odessa and St. Paul.
California shot a 207, 13 strokes behind first place Sacred Heart. Olivia Sobaski was the overall medalist with a 38, and Roberts was second with a 43.
Brant carded a 50 for fourth and Madison Ratcliff scored a 51 for fifth.
EUGENE - Mikala Jungmeyer was first place medalist with a 75 at the Class 1, District 3 Tournament at Redfield Golf and Country Club in Eugene. Madie Bungart finished ninth with a 91 and Madison Oliver finished in 13th place with a 98.
The three Lady Indians are earned All-District and advance to sectionals at Silo Ridge in Boliver.
