A 6-year-old boy was hit while trying to cross a road Wednesday morning in Moniteau County.
Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the accident occurred at 7:05 a.m. on State Street, west of Marion Street in McGirk.
Connar McGuire was attempting to cross there and was struck by a vehicle driven by Mitchell Donald, 63, California.
McGuire was treated for moderate injuries.
Mitchell had no reported injuries.
