Peoples Bank of Moniteau County is pleased to announce the addition of Gary Miller to the bank's lending team. As a loan officer working out of the California facility, Miller will be responsible for commercial, agricultural and real estate lending as well as assisting with consumer loan requests.

"Gary has has over 30 years of banking experience," said Bank President David Hampton, "and most of that time has been spent right here in Moniteau County. His combination of experience and community involvement will be a real benefit to our customers."

"I have been in Moniteau County since 1985, but my wife Debbie was born and raised in California," said Miller. "It is nice to be given an opportunity to return to California and serve the community of which I am a part. Working for Peoples Bank of Moniteau County means that decisions will be made locally, not out of town, and I see that as a real advantage to me and my customers."

Peoples Bank of Moniteau County (PBOMC), a locally owned independent bank, originated in Jamestown and has been in business since 1941. On April 2, 2007, the bank opened a new branch at 201 East Main Street, California.
