KRCG's Zach Paul visits CES

Upon completion on the study of weather third graders were treated Thursday, Jan. 28, to a visit from local weather meteorologist, Zach Paul, with KRCG TV.

The students filled the elementary multipurpose room with anticipation of hearing what Paul had to tell them about weather.

Paul informed the students he first became interested in weather when he was in third grade. A local meteorologist came to his school to explain weather and he had wanted to be a meteorologist ever since. He put the students at ease allowing them to shout out answers and ask as many questions as they could think of to ask during his power point presentation.

The students had very good questions for Meteorologist Paul, such as, "can we have a tornado today?", "What causes weather?" and where does lighting come from? as well as many more.

Paul kept the students attention keeping them involved in his presentation in an interactive manner.

California Elementary third graders are taught by Kayla Barnard, Amie Doll, Andrea Hill, Rebecca Leonard and Cathy Lovins.
