Wind chills remain hazardous after snow ends across Mid-Missouri

An accumulation of 1 to 3 inches of snow covered much of southwest, central and northeast Missouri on Saturday but has come to an end.

The coldest temperatures of the winter season are on tap for tonight with lows expected to dip into the single digits and teens, followed by highs in the lower 20s on Sunday.

Northerly winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts over 30 mph are possible through Sunday morning. Wind chill values tonight will drop as low as five below zero. Wind chills in the single digits will continue at times from Sunday night through Wednesday morning.
