California High School FFA Barnwarming held in ag shop

The California FFA chapter held its annual chapter Barnwarming on Friday with music and a dance in the Ag Shop.

The candidates for Barnwarming royalty were introduced and games and tests were conducted through which the queen and king were selected.

Freshman candidates were: Hailey Cain, daughter of Randy and Monica Cain, and Alex Currens, son of Rachel Johnson and Steve Currens. Sophomore candidates were: Mackenzie Swillum, daughter of Joseph and Rachel Swillum; and John Calton, son of Stephanie and James Calton. Junior candidates were: Allee Koestner, daughter of Christine and Travis Koestner; and Cole Schlup, son of Jeff and Julie Schlup. Senior candidates were: Ellie Wirts, daughter of Kyle and Carol Wirts; and Jackson Trachsel, son of Jan and John Trachsel.

Winners of the games, with most points scored were the freshmen with 36 points. Queen Hailey and King Alex were crowned.
