Special 150th fair commemorative items

In honor of the event of the 150th Moniteau County Fair, a special commemorative 150th Moniteau County Fair Henry Golden Boy .22 long rifle has been produced. It is planned to offer six of the commemorative lever-action rifles at auction, one each day during the fair. In addition, one of the special commemorative rifles will be the prize in a drawing to be held Saturday, Aug. 6. The tickets for the drawing are $5 each or five for $20.

The special Henry rifles are serial numbered beginning with MCF001 (for Moniteau County Fair). Rifle No. 1 and belt buckle No. 1 will be auctioned on Wednesday, on rodeo night at the fair. Rifle No. 2 will be the drawing prize. The remaining rifles will be auctioned on the other nights of the fair. Those auctions will be for the rifles only.

Anyone winning one of the rifles, whether through an auction or the raffle will pick up the firearm from Mid Mo Archery & Shooting Supplies, a licensed firearms dealer in Moniteau County.

Items offered for sale by the Moniteau County Fair Board, in addition to belt buckles, include commemorative hats, t-shirts, cups and koozies.
