Kim Lucas is an artist.

She has 15 years of her floral design experience working in floral shops in Jefferson City before starting to work at California's The Flower Shop.

She has worked at the shop for a year now and has used her artistic flower-arranging talents during that time.

But who knew she had other hidden artistic talents?

Now, she is using her artistic painting talents to not only beautifully decorate the windows of The Flower Shop, but also to help promote the 150th Moniteau County Fair at the same time.

"And, she has done such a great job that other businesses have already asked us to loan her out," said Robin Ratcliff, co-owner of The Flower Shop. Two of these are Bond Pharmacy and Burgher Haus who asked to take advantage of The Flower Shop's talented employee to decorate their windows Tuesday.

Window scenes include various aspects found at a fair, such as food, carnival rides, livestock and the floral hall exhibits, etc.
