Junior Ham Auction at Moniteau County Fair

There were more than 170 cured hams at the 2017 Moniteau County Junior Ham Auction Aug. 12.

Placing in the top 10 of junior hams auctioned were: grand champion Zoey Street, Twin City 4-H Club; reserve grand champion Hayden Hoellering, California FFA; third place, Emma Russell, Twin City 4-H; fourth place, Cole Gruender, Tipton FFA; fifth place, Gavin Porter, Shamrock 4-H; sixth place, Jenna Berendzen, Show Me 4-H; seventh place, Trey Porter, Shamrock 4-H; eighth place, Mitchell Moon, Tipton 4-H; ninth place, Tristan Porter, Shamrock 4-H; and 10th place, Treagan Porter, Shamrock 4-H.

In addition to junior hams, the grand champion slab bacon by Dane Fisher was auctioned.

Brayden Halford had the reserve frand champion slab bacon.

John Kuhlmann cured the grand champion non-commercial ham and the reserve grand champion commercial ham.

The champion commercial ham was taken to auction by Faith Nolasco and the reserve champion commercial ham was by Quynton Cary.
