The hallways of Prairie Home school were filled with children of all ages, their families, and school staff during the school's open house Aug. 14.
Students and their families explored their new classrooms, filled their lockers with school supplies and talked to their teachers, new and old, as everyone gets ready for school to start Aug. 16.
Superintendent David Heeb said that about 80% of the families in the community around Prairie Home school usually attend the open house.
