Russellville ag teacher wins Ideas Unlimited

Ellen Amos, agriculture educator at Russellville High School, was recognized by the Missouri Vocational Agriculture Teachers Association for her contribution to the service of agricultural education in the state of Missouri during the association's conference earlier this year.

Amos received a plaque and a $50 gift certificate, sponsored by Seitz Fundraising. Teachers submit an application describing an in-class project or lesson used within their agriculture dducation program.

Amos was selected from among the six district winners in Missouri to compete at the NAAE Region 4 Conference held in June in Lafayette, Indiana.

The ag association is a professional agriculture education teacher association with 510 members serving 339 schools.
