Moniteau County Law Day

Moniteau County Law Day was held Aug. 18 with Judge Stan Moore officiating.

Ricky D. Carender, Russellville, entered a plea of guilty to Class D felony charge of possession of controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid. He was sentenced to seven years in prison.

Justis B. Marshall, Vienna, entered a plea of guilty to Class C felony deliver/attempt to deliver/possession/deposit/conceal controlled substance at correctional facility and misdemeanor driving while intoxicated-alcohol. Imposition of sentence was suspended on both charges and he was placed on five years supervised probation on the felony charge and two years probation on the misdemeanor charge.

Probation was revoked for Phillip Brandon Roach, California, and he was ordered to serve the five-year sentence previously imposed on a plea of guilty to Class C felony charge of possession of controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana.
