Long-time waitress Maye Williams-O'Neal retires

A retirement party for Maye Williams-O'Neal, center, drew many family, friends and former customers to the event held at Nic Nac in California on Sunday afternoon, Jan. 29. 

Williams-O'Neal began working at age 13. Since she will turn 89 in April, she thought this was a good time to retire.

According to those present, the celebrated retiree worked at Nic Nac for 37 years. Most recently, she cut her work time back to two days a week.
