The Finke Theater was alive Saturday night, Feb. 11, with the award-winning sounds of Victor and Penny.
Their light harmonies and infectious energy along with the added talent of the upright bass, clarinet and soprano saxophone was a hit with all who attended.
Victor and Penny, aka Jeff Freling and Erin McGrane, performed some of their original songs and, with the help of James Isaac, Rick Willoughby and Kyle Dahlquist, took the audience to Chicago and beyond with their poems and stories.
Sponsors of the event were: Eldred and Elaine Proctor, Hawthorn Bank, Robert and Mary Keil, and the EM Burger Foundation.
The Historic Finke Theatre in California has performances monthly with the exception of July and August. Call 573-691-9939 for more information on future events or go online to www.finketheatre.com.
