A popular Lake of the Ozarks area entertainer will return to The Royal Theatre in Versailles for three performances of "The Many Faces of Wendy Warner" beginning Friday.

Warner is best known for her talented vocals, antics and impersonations as part of the cast at Main Street Music Hall in Osage Beach. Celebrating more than 20 seasons with the live music show and many other community outlets, Warner is veteran to performance arts.

Warner graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in dietetics and a minor in psychology and chemistry, according to the Main Street Music Hall's website. During her time there, she was also a three-year member and captain of the Sugar Bear Dance Squad, sang with the Bruin Pride Jazz Band and performed for President Ronald Reagan and then Vice President George H. Bush, as well as former Gov. John Ashcroft.

Warner, a married mother of five children, is a member of and leads worship at Sonlight Christian Fellowship Church in Camdenton. She has also played a key role in orchestrating Freedom Fest every Fourth of July at the church's grounds.

When she is not involved in performing nearly daily during the annual season at Main Street Music Hall, Warner entertains audiences with her talents at various churches, for groups and at venues like The Royal Theatre.

"The month of January is her off-season, so she is able to book outside venues to showcase her talents," said Cindy Davenport, The Royal Theatre director, noting the upcoming concert series is the third time "The Many Faces of Wendy Warner" has been presented at the historic venue.

Davenport said she first became familiar with Warner's talent several years ago when Warner performed her Sarah Palin impersonation for charity events around the Lake area.

"Wendy is not only a magnificent singer, she is a great comedian, a talented dancer and impersonator of several well-known acts," she said.

Davenport said Warner prepares herself up to the minute she goes on stage, producing a one-woman act audiences will enjoy from beginning to end.

"Wendy's driven focus to each detail of every song, skit or dance is impeccable. She is a one-woman, full-cast show," Davenport said. "Her comic skits are highlighted with detailed props; her songs and her impersonations are emphasized with background videos."

"The Many Faces of Wendy Warner" will take The Royal Theatre stage at 7 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Feb. 4.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students/children, ages 3-18. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door depending on availability.
