Missouri 4-H members from throughout the state participated in the 4-H Public Speaking Academy on June 21 and 22.
Sixteen youth gathered at Central Methodist University in Fayette with the goal of developing public speaking skills. Membership in 4-H is not required to attend the academy.
Kyla Combs, Moniteau County 4-H member, participated in this workshop, along with other 4-H club members from Missouri. Kyla is the daughter of Nicholas and Kelly Combs from California and is a member of the Shamrock 4-H Club.
