There were 21 children in attendance at the New Life Christian Center Vacation Bible School held June 15-17.

The book of Joshua presented the theme for all the teaching and visual decor. Each session was opened with the pledges to the Bible, United States flag and Christian flag.

Theresa Flippin led in singing "Joshua Fought the Battle of Jericho" and other songs. The scripture "Be strong and of good courage" was taught to preschool and elementary classes. Kimberly Scheidt helped provide snacks such as barbells made of pretzels and cheese.

A puppet skit of "Rehab and the Two Spies" was presented by Traci Thompson. The children enjoyed games centered on the same theme by Teresa Herrera. Kid enjoyed horse rides on Amigo, which was led by Bill Shroer. Re-enactments of the Jordan River parting, the shofar trumpet was blown and each day there was a Jericho march with the walls tumbling down at the end.
