Firefighters extinguished a blaze at a Jefferson City residence Wednesday night.
The city's fire department was dispatched to a home on fire in the 1000 block of Carol Street around 7:40 p.m. Flames were seen coming from the attached garage of the single story, single family residence.
One occupant was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for evaluation of injuries.
