RENICK, Mo. (AP) -- Authorities say a tree trimmer was killed in north-central Missouri when a tree he was cutting down toppled onto him.
KTVO reports that 38-year-old Charles Hamblin of Macon died at the scene of the accident shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday in Renick in Randolph County.
Authorities say Hamblin owned a tree service and was cutting down a tree when the wind reportedly shifted directions and toppled the tree onto Hamblin.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
