According to a press release from Moniteau County Sheriff Tony Wheatley, deputies contacted Jacqueline M. Stegeman, 33, California, who was walking in the city.
She was taken into custody on an active warrant for assault. Upon her arrest at the scene, deputies located methamphetamine, pills and drug paraphernalia which she tried to conceal.
Stegeman was then taken to the Moniteau County Jail for booking on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
