Accident prevention award presented to city

The Missouri Rural Services Workers Compensation Insurance Trust Hall of Fame award was presented to the City of California for Excellence in Accident Prevention for the period of Jan. 1, 2013 to March 31, 2016. 

In addition, the safety record of the city was found deserving to be named to the President's Club. This is the city's 14th year of receiving the award.
